2011 Dante Rivetti Barbaresco Bricco di Micca Riserva DOCG

100% Nebbiolo. This Barbaresco Cru from the village of Neive bears the additional geographic indication “Bric’ Micca” on its label. Aged for 24 months, with 40% in Slavonian oak casks and 60% in small French barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle.

Deep garnet red acquiring the orange nuances which are typical of Nebbiolo on ageing, it has an intense, expansive bouquet with floral notes, and a dry, full-bodied taste with a soft entry that develops with a nicely tannic structure.

  • About The Producer

The roots of four generations of the Rivetti family run deep into the hills that overlook Neive from Bricco, Cuneo. Towards the end of the 19th century, Giuseppe Rivetti “Pinin”, head of the family, bought three estates to share among his children. A century later, in the mid 1979’s, his grandson Dante began personally running the wineries, bottling and selling the wines produced under his own name. Every year, Dante Rivetti continues to achieve the highest international accolades for their exceptional Barbaresco.
