2011 Renato Buganza Nebbiolo d’Alba Bric Paradis DOC
100% Nebbiolo. Piobesi d'Alba, Guarene d'Alba (Cuneo) Piedmont. 18 months in barriques. Decanted and left to rest for three months and then bottled. Six months maturation in the bottle before being put on the market. More than 10 years cellaring potential.
Deep ruby red with slight orange hues. Refined and aristocratic. Complex with scents of violet, liquorice, confectionery, vanilla, withered rose, undergrowth and spices. A ripe entry leads to a grippy full-bodied palate with good cut and ripe fruit (plum, blackberries) and liquorice. Balanced tannins.
Excellent with red meat,game,mature cheeses.

The Buganza estate extends over 35 hectares in the province of Alba, Piedmont. The prestigious wines and grappa’s produced here are exclusively obtained from estate-grown, organic grapes.
The vineyards are still manually worked and grape picking is carried out with utmost attention, selecting the best bunches to produce the highest quality wine and grappa’s.
