    100% Nebbiolo. This Barbaresco Cru from the village of Neive bears the additional geographic indication “Bric’ Micca” on its label. Aged for 24 months, with 40% in Slavonian oak casks and 60% in small French barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle.

    Deep garnet red acquiring the orange nuances which are typical of Nebbiolo on ageing, it has an intense, expansive bouquet with floral notes, and a dry, full-bodied taste with a soft entry that develops with a nicely tannic structure.

    Perfect with egg pasta dishes, red meat, medium mature cheeses.

    100% Pinot Nero. 18 months in French oak barrels.

    Ruby red with glimmers of garnet-red. Bouquet of cherry, blackberry and strawberries accompanied with floral notes of rose and violet and a slight hint of white pepper, cloves and cinnamon. Perfect balance between the vitality of the tannins and the acidity compensated with warm notes from the alcohol and a slight almond finish.

    Pinot Nero shows great versatility to enliven a wide array of dishes from simple starters and rich and earthy salad, to pasta dishes and fattier fish such as smoked salmon, as well as white or red meat dishes.

    2015 Bosco Agostino Barolo La Serra DOCG

    100% Nebbiolo. An historical Cru of La Morra. The vineyard faces southeast at an altitude of about 400 metres and the soils are tuffaceous and calcareous providing this wine with structure and tannins suitable for long aging. Complex bouquets of berry jam and brandied cherries, with detectable spicy notes.

    Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C. Maceration lasts 20-22 days. After racking, the wine is held at about 20°C for malolactic fermentation to take place. The wine is then placed in barriques and tonneaux for about 6-7 months before transferral to 200 litre Slavonian oak casks to age 23-24 months. At the end of this period, it is bottled in August and released the following March.

An explosion of flavours will wind the palate with layers of baked fruit, tobacco and spice. Warm, velvety, rich and slightly astringent. Well balanced.

    Recommended with braised beef, stewed venison, aged cheeses. A magnificent after dinner companion.

    In the Friuli region this noble French grape variety has found its ideal microclimate in which to best express its characteristic features. Its ruby red to purplish colour and grassy aromas render it quite unique. As the wine ages, its characteristic fruity and spicy tones – green pepper and nutmeg come to the fore. Austere, assertive body, with pleasing tannins.
