2016 Cieck Ingenuus Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG
100% Erbaluce. Spontaneous fermentation utilising indigenous yeasts. Maceration on skins for approximately six days. 24 months fining in used oak barrels. An unfiltered, natural wine.
Golden colour. Warm bouquet with notes of honey and vegetal hints. Structured, full palate with a final almond note.
Perfect with Piedmont style dishes such as ‘Bagna Cauda’ but is extremely versatile with white meat, vegetarian dishes and aged cheeses.
2016 Cieck San Giorgio Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG Brut Millesimato
100% Erbaluce. Made applying traditional Champagne making methods to Erbaluce grapes. On lees for 36 months. After a further bottle maturation of six months, it is ready to be uncorked.
Pale lemon with light-green tinges. Fine and persistent bubbles sustain a bright-white ethereal mousse. Fruity, with characteristic bread-crust aroma and rich with floral sensations. Full, harmonious, fresh, with good acidity but not sharp.
Excellent aftertaste, slightly aromatic, with the right persistence.
Perfect as an aperitif, excellent with an entire meal, especially with fish, shellfish, white meat and vegetables.
