Di Filippo

The Di Filippo winery is situated in Cannara (Perugia) Umbria, halfway between Torgiano and Montefalco and boasts 30 hectares of vineyards with wonderful exposure to the sun.

All the vineyards are cultivated strictly following certified organic and biodynamic methods, without the use of fungicides, weed killers or other compounds. This results in lower production yields, producing about 8000 kg per hectare.

Di Filippo's "piece de resistance" are its red wines, in particular D.O.C.G. Sagrantino and D.O.C. Rosso of Montefalco but they also produce superb white wines, such as D.O.C. Grechetto dei Colli Martani and IGT wines which are synonymous of Umbria.
