Maturation and ageing:
Not filtered, 6-8 months in French oak barrels and minimum 6 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes:
Colour: deep red.
Aroma: multiple aromas and especially notes of black cherry, spice and liquorice.
Taste: full bodied with soft, long-lasting tannins and a lively personality.

Suggested pairings:
Excellent with mature cheeses, red meat and beef "tagliata".

Serve at a temperature of 20-22° C. It can be uncorked just before serving, although the flavours are enhanced by being left to breathe for a few hours.
