The Stocco name contains a family tradition which has dedicated itself to its task and to the love and care of its land for more than 100 years.

Four generations of wine producers, a history created by far-thinking men: Francesco, known as Checo, who dedicated the Stocco name to those first vineyards when wine only left the cellar for the daily meal or on rare occasions of celebration.
With renewed determination, Giordano earned the winery ever more recognition in the 70s, up until receipt of the prestigious "Cangrande" prize awarded to him in Verona "for having contributed to the development of Italian oenology".
It is now with Andrea, Daniela and Paola that this long and constant search for excellence continues.

Viticulture in Bicinicco, in the Friuli Grave wine producing zone, has found an original link between the peculiarity of its territory, which is unique thanks to its gravel and red soil, and the respectful and tenacious work undertaken by our family.
It is thanks to this that our wines reveal their exclusive imprinting. The Grave, which is situated between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone, hosts the most famous clone "cradle" in the world, it is from here that the highest quality rootstock, destined for the finest Italian and international wine producers, depart.
The extraordinary fruit of such intense research and experimentation are the native wine varieties together with others of French and German origin which have, over time, become the crowning achievement of our vine-growing.
