    A blend of only the best bunches of Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese grapes. Aged for more than one year in barriques and several months in the bottle before its release.

    Dark ruby red. Very intense and complex nose with sensations of ripe red and black fruit such as cherries in alcohol, plum, wild berries, as well as spicy notes of cardamom, nutmeg and black pepper, followed by blue flowers and underbrush, and a very final pleasant balsamic note. Smooth palate, pleasantly tannic, well balanced, elegant and  long persistence. 

    Perfect with Pappardelle pasta with meat sauce, barbecued meats, stews, medium – aged cheeses, or with traditional Roman dishes such as Bucatini all’Amatriciana and Coda alla Vaccinara.

    100% Cesanese grapes harvested when they are overripe from vineyards located in south Velletri and north Aprilia (south of Rome). The must is cryomacerated for 12 hours. Fermentation and ageing for 24 months on skins in cement tanks and 12 months in the bottle. Unfiltered and unclarified.

    Deep ruby red with purple and garnet hues. Aromas of plum, cocoa, dark chocolate as well as balsamic notes. On the palate, prevalence of forest fruits in particular, redcurrant, blackberry and gooseberry with a hint of wild strawberry. Balanced acidity and long persistence. Unexpected, subtle, pleasant final sweet note of apricot jam.

    Perfect with pasta with ragout, meat and aged cheeses.

Piobesi d'Alba, Guarene d'Alba (Cuneo) Piedmont, on chalky marl soils at 270 m above sea level with south-westerly exposure. 18 months maturation in oak casks after which the new wine is decanted and left to rest for three months then bottled. After six months in the bottle, it is put on the market. More than 10 years cellaring potential.
    Deep ruby red with slight purple hues. Very rich and complex with scents of red fruit, violet, confectionery, vanilla, withered rose, undergrowth, liquorice and spices. A ripe entry leads to a grippy full-bodied palate with a good alcoholic kick and ripe fruit (plum, blackberries). Long-lasting and harmonious finish with soft, balanced tannins.

    100% Nebbiolo. This Barbaresco Cru from the village of Neive bears the additional geographic indication “Bricco di Neive” on its label. The vines are historic, and the vineyard faces southwest on clayey calcareous soils.

    Aged for 36 months in oak, with 80% in 50 hl Slavonian oak casks and 20% in small French barrels for the first 2 years followed by 12 months all in large Slavonian casks. The wine then matures in the bottle for a further 18 months, after which it can be labelled as a Riserva.

    Deep garnet red acquiring the orange nuances which are typical of Nebbiolo on ageing, It has an intense, expansive bouquet, and a dry, full-bodied taste with a tannic entry that develops with a nice, long structure. It lends itself to lengthy ageing.

    Exceptional with red meat and game and medium mature cheeses.
