Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia and Trebbiano local grapes. Late harvest of the grapes handpicked on the plant. Maceration at low temperatures for at least 24 hours followed by fermentation in wooden vats and maturation on yeasts for a minimum of 12 months.
Bright golden yellow. Intensely aromatic nose with pineapple, apricot and peach, lightly citrusy with subtle notes of lavender and yellow rose. Slightly sweet yet subtle palate, full of fruity acidity, and well balanced with a long persistence of aromatic herbs and fruit.
Sublime paired with aged cheeses (especially blue cheese, gorgonzola), paté, pastries, or simply on its own.
2012 Tenuta di Sticciano Vin Santo del Chianti DOC$59.40
45% Tuscan white Malvasia, 20% Tuscan Trebbiano, 20% San Colombano, 15% White Canaiolo. Only the healthiest grapes are selected and are dried for about 90 days. In the last three months, they are pressed to extract their sweet juice, which ferments and matures for three years in small oak and chestnut barrels ranging from 100 to 200 litres. 6 months ageing in the bottle.
Beautiful amber colour with notes of tropical and candied fruit, ripe apricot, walnut, almond, honey and a touch of cinnamon.
A perfect after dinner drink served with cantuccini biscuits.

100% Brachetto. Purple, tending towards cherry. Intense and predominant bouquet of withered rose with lychee and raspberry and a faint musky note. Slight acidity counterbalanced by sweetness, so it is exceptionally well-balanced light and harmonious palate.
Ideal accompaniment to creamy young Gorgonzola, delicate pâtés and country terrines. Perfect with biscuits and cakes, and almond nougat (torrone).

100% Glera (Prosecco). Late harvest dessert wine. The best grapes are selected and set out to wilt on matting in a large ventilated, dry loft and pressed. Partial slow fermentation in oak, followed by fermentation in stainless steel containers.
Pale orange. Full, ethereal, inviting and spicy. Fruit compote is particularly prevalent: apricot, pear, walnut, almond and cinnamon. Sweet, full, generous and persistent.
Superb dessert and meditation wine. Perfect served at the end of a meal with biscuits and fruit tarts.

100% Cornetta (Vernaccia Nera). Sundried for 2 months followed by prolonged maceraton.
Dark garnet with black olive hues. Distinctive bouquet of ripe fruit (plum) and black olive. On the palate it is slightly sweet, with notes of dark olive, subtle tannins and a dry aftertaste. This unique wine conjures the taste of port.
It is quite versatile and is perfect with many desserts, pastries and biscuits as well as more savoury dishes such as cured meats, herb cheeses and quiches.

100% Moscato. Sweet white dessert wine. Golden yellow. Intense bouquet recalling apricots, citrus fruit and honey. The mouth feel is rich, greatly concentrated and powerful. Extremely lengthy aftertaste destined to increase with the time spent bottled. Sipping this wine gives an uncannily real impression of actually tasting grapes plucked from the vine.
Wonderful with aged cheeses (herbed pecorino, chedder, gruyere), desserts and chocolate.
